Over the weekend Ethans Sister Keely and her friend Abbie set off to complete a
100K steps challenge. The plan to walk from Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury and back to Telford to raise money for the charity.
Abbie and Keely got to 66k steps together but due to blisters and not feeling great Keely then took the decision to call it a day. It was even more grueling thanks to Storm Bert bringing the bad weather, so the girls did an absolutely amazing job to get that far together.
Abbie decided that she wanted to carry on and try and finish the challenge. She managed another 9k steps on the Saturday which took her to an impressive 75k steps. At this point she also started to feel the effects and had pushed herself too far and decided she needed to stop as she felt physically ill.
But a challenge is a challenge and Abbie still wanted to finish it so after having a sleep she got up this morning and decided to finish the last 25k steps!
So although it took longer than expected she did finish the 100k steps walking 48.6
miles!
An amazing effort by both girls, we are all extremely proud of them.
Thank you to everyone for your support and donations it's meant the world to Abbie and Keely. If anyone would still like to donate you can head over to our donate page.
